On October 4th, 5th and 6th 2019, Fira de Barcelona hosts the VIII edition of BAUM Fest and the XXII edition of Barcelona Tattoo Expo.
The Urban Culture Festival “BAUM Fest” is the reference event of urban culture in this country. BAUM Fest returns again to the catalan capital with the latest news and a unique exhibition that combines different disciplines related to urban art, an appointment attended by around 18,000 people.
The latest artistic proposals related to urban culture can be seen throughout the weekend. You will be able to enjoy Breaking Bboy Battle & All Styles dance competitions with dance battle, as well as presentations of choreographic groups from schools or running areas. During the three days you can also be entertained by the indoor skatepark of Extreme Sports Competitions, where you will see the best tricks of BMX, Inline and Skate. And there’s even more to see; the motor zone will host the custom vehicle competitions: Bike Show and Car Show, where workshops throughout the country will present their latest work on motorcycles and cars from the world of Custom.
Also, under BAUM Fest, returns the always outstanding International Tattoo Convention of Barcelona, which comes back to the city in its XXII edition, more consolidated than ever and with a very outstanding offer, bringing together more than 300 professionals from different parts of the world willing to offer their art to anyone who decides to visit Fira Barcelona. The International Tattoo Convention of Barcelona orders each year a promotional poster to one of the national tattoo artists with the intention of enhancing their work. Dani Martos, from Demon Tattoo of La Seu D’Urgell, is the Spanish artist responsible for creating the poster for this 22nd edition. Dani began his career as a carpenter, passionate about realism and, little by little, he changed his support, moving his drawings from wood to skin.
BAUM Fest is positioned as a must encounter for lovers of urban culture, a weekend in which activities and shows are happening at a fast pace under the hum of tattoo machines and the smell of ink.
